Raycom Media Names New Chief Financial Officer

Warren Spector has been named Chief Financial Officer for Raycom Media. Spector is an accomplished financial and operations executive having previously worked with the Walt Disney Family at Retlaw Enterprise Inc., Fisher Communications, Inc. and most recently serving as CFO for Barrington Broadcasting.

"Warren has managed change, mergers and acquisitions, startups and turnarounds." said Paul McTear, President and CEO of Raycom Media. McTear continued, "He brings tremendous experience to the Raycom Media team as we move forward into the future of broadcast, digital and multimedia platforms."

Pat LaPlatney, COO of Raycom Media added, "Warren is a critical thinker and able to analyze, organize and manage diverse projects. Spector, while Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Barrington Broadcasting was responsible for raising $300 Million for acquisitions. Spector also was Managing Director at Lydian Wealth Management and Executive Vice President Chief Operating Officer for Fisher Communications, Inc., where he managed the overall operations for the $300 million corporation. Spector while working for the Walt Disney Family, as Chief Financial Officer of Retlaw Enterprises, Inc., secured $130 Million for acquisitions.

Spector has an MBA, from the Graduate School of Management, UCLA. A BA, Economics, from UCLA, and is a CPA, State of California. Spector continues on the Board of Directors of the Disney Family private foundation. Warren and his wife Jayne will be relocating to Montgomery, AL.
